What is title insurance?
Title insurance is a product that protects against hidden liens or ownership issues during a property transaction. It's necessary to ensure that the seller has the right to transfer ownership to the buyer. The owner's policy lasts as long as the buyer or their heirs own the property. The loan policy will last until the loan is satisfied or the buyer or heirs sell the property.
